What is Wet Cast?
Wetcast concrete, also known as wet-cast or wet-pour concrete, is a method of producing concrete products that involves a high water-to-cement ratio and a relatively fluid concrete mix. This process allows for the creation of detailed and smooth finishes, making it suitable for producing decorative and intricate concrete items.
In wetcast concrete production, a concrete mix is prepared by combining cement, aggregates (such as sand and gravel), water, and often additional additives or admixtures for improved workability or specific properties. The resulting mixture is relatively wet and has a higher slump (fluidity) compared to traditional dry-cast or precast concrete.
