Cast Stone
Cast stone, also known as architectural precast concrete, is a man-made material used in construction and architectural applications. It is designed to replicate the appearance and characteristics of natural stone while offering advantages in terms of cost, durability, and versatility.
It is made by mixing crushed natural stone or aggregates, such as limestone, granite, or marble, with a cementitious binder, pigments, and other additives. The mixture is poured into moulds and cured under controlled conditions to achieve the desired shape and texture. The use of moulds allows for the production of a wide range of shapes, sizes, and surface finishes, including intricate architectural details.
